PART A: General Information:

PART B: Video Personal Statement (no longer than 5 minutes)

Please prepare a video personal statement discussing (a) how your diversity has affected your life and view of the legal profession, and (b) how you would contribute to creating a more diverse legal community in Rochester. Also, include any pertinent skills and qualifications that are not included on your resume. Please label this submission with your name.

PART C: Legal Writing Sample

Please submit a legal writing sample, drafted while in law school, that best represents your product. Examples include a memo, note for a journal, a moot court brief, or a memorandum of law. Ideally it should be a minimum of 750 words and no more than ten (10) pages.  Please label this submission with your name and Attachment C.

PART D: Undergraduate, Law School, and any Post-Graduate Studies Transcripts

Please submit an official undergraduate transcript with this application or arrange to have one sent directly from your undergraduate institution to the Internship Program Manager, Shani Curry, [email protected] or PO Box 14569, Rochester, NY 14614. Also, please submit a law school transcript. An unofficial law school transcript is acceptable but, if you are invited to interview, you must submit an official transcript by March 1, 2024. Please label this submission with your name and Attachment D.
